Does my child have homework every night?
Expect homework daily Monday-Thursday, rarely on the weekends. There may be some days when we don't have homework during the usual days expected, but that will only be on occasions when we have special events such as testing or field trips. Otherwise you can plan on your child having homework.
How do I know what their homework is for the day?
Students will have a planner which they will write in and bring home daily. Their homework will also be posted on this website!
How do I help my child with their math homework?
Each student is given a Student Reference Book along with their math journal, the reference book will guide you as to how I have taught the lesson in class. You may also contact me through this website, e-mail, phone, or in person...my door is always open!
How do I pay for my child's lunch?
You may deposit money into your child's lunch money account or send money to school with your child in an envelope with their name and lunch money marked on it. For more information, please link below and click on MealPayPlus.

May I send in a birthday treat?
Definitely! Please let me know ahead of time so we can chose a time that works for our class. Small wrapped or store bought treats work the best.
What is the Weekend Reader Bag?
This is a blue drawstring backpack that is sent home on Thursdays with 8 students in our class. Your child will NOT get one every week, but count on seeing the bag once a month. This gives you an opportunity to read with your child. They may read the book to you, you may read the book to them, or you may read the book together. This is a great way to encourage reading! Then, students are to answer questions about their book in the notebook provided. Finally, students will return the bag to school the following Monday. New students will receive the bags each week.
